Votive Offerings
The custom of bringing and offering votive offerings, presented by pilgrims in the Chapel of the Miraculous Image, is a characteristic and age-old religious practice at Jasna Góra. However, please do not attach any gifts of thanksgiving or supplication to the walls of the Chapel without authorization. All votive offerings should be presented to the duty Pauline father in the sacristy. There is also a special Votive Book in the sacristy where all votive gifts are recorded and registered.
Blessing of Devotional Items
During the summer season, devotional items are blessed in front of the Basilica and in the sacristy during its opening hours. During the winter season, blessings occur in the sacristy. When the sacristy is closed, various religious souvenirs are blessed in the Chapel of the Sacrament of Penance (starting from 12:00).
